DJI announced the international launch of its Agras T50 and T25 agricultural drones on 25 April 2024. The T50 targeted larger operations with a stated spraying payload of 40 kilograms or a spreading payload of 50 kilograms. The smaller T25 offered 20-kilogram spraying and 25-kilogram spreading configurations.

The release described terrain-following and obstacle-sensing functions, fast battery charging and automated missions. An updated SmartFarm application added tools for plot management, operational reporting and device oversight. These features connected aircraft operation with the administrative work of delivering crop-protection services. DJI’s capacity and work-rate figures were manufacturer specifications measured under particular conditions; actual daily coverage depends on the field, application rate and support arrangements. The announcement established two product sizes rather than a single aircraft intended to suit every farm.
