Dogtooth Technologies reported on 29 November 2023 that its strawberry-harvesting robot had been displayed at the Global Investment Summit at Hampton Court Palace. The company said the Department for Business and Trade selected it to represent the UK agricultural-robotics sector at the event.
Its contemporaneous Gen5 specification sheet described a robot for tabletop strawberries in glasshouses and polytunnels, combining picking, onboard inspection and placement of berries into punnets. It also listed Wi-Fi coverage, charging and indoor storage among the supporting infrastructure requirements. The summit appearance was a visibility milestone rather than a new field trial.
