Bosch’s September 2019 announcement described NEVONEX as a manufacturer-independent infrastructure for connecting agricultural equipment, sensors and software services. The silver Agritechnica Innovation Award recognised work with AMAZONE, LEMKEN, Pessl Instruments, RAUCH, Syngenta, Topcon, xarvio and ZG Raiffeisen. At the time, market introduction was planned for spring 2020.

The concept placed software applications on a compatible machine controller so that digital services could influence equipment functions and document operations. Bosch also described connecting existing or retrofitted sensors and transferring information into farm-management systems. This historical announcement is useful because it captures an early attempt to move digital farming from separate advisory screens into the machine’s operating workflow. It does not establish the platform’s current availability or support arrangements.
