Blue Radix announced worldwide availability of autonomous control for strawberry greenhouses on May 21, 2026. Its Crop Controller service extends the company’s existing approach beyond vegetable production, using greenhouse measurements, sensor data and weather forecasts to translate a grower’s cultivation strategy into operating decisions. Commands pass through the greenhouse’s existing climate computer.
The system recalculates a three-day operating profile every hour, with five-minute control steps. Blue Radix says this helps coordinate conditions such as temperature and humidity, which require careful management in strawberry production. Growers retain strategic oversight and receive support from the company’s greenhouse specialists. The release describes a commercial product expansion; its statements about reduced adjustments and improved crop conditions are vendor claims, rather than independently reported trial results.
