Turin’s CIGR–EurAgEng 2026 congress connects biosystems engineering disciplines

The joint CIGR–EurAgEng congress in Turin focused on emerging technologies and innovation in biosystems engineering, bringing agricultural engineering, artificial intelligence and resource-management research into a shared scientific programme.

The joint CIGR–EurAgEng World Congress was scheduled for 24–26 June 2026 at Politecnico di Torino in Turin, Italy. Its official programme centred on emerging technologies and innovation in biosystems engineering, connecting engineering research with agriculture and environmental sustainability.

The organisers’ pre-congress welcome reported more than 650 registrations and over 680 scheduled communications. These were planning figures, not a verified post-event attendance total. CIGR and the European Society of Agricultural Engineers jointly organised the meeting. With the event now in the past, the congress website is useful as an archive for locating its programme and researchers working across related agricultural engineering topics.
