In March 2024, CEMA announced the availability of the QuantiFarm Toolkit. The Horizon Europe project developed an assessment framework covering economic, environmental and social effects of digital agricultural technology solutions.
The announcement described 30 test cases across 20 countries and seven sectors, including crops, dairy, meat, beekeeping and aquaculture. The toolkit combined assessment outputs with descriptions of approximately 400 technologies drawn from inventories and literature. Five supporting tools were intended to help users explore evidence and estimate potential effects in different settings. The platform therefore offered structured decision support, rather than a universal ranking that makes one technology the best choice for every farm.
