Niqo Robotics announced an expansion programme on 16 March 2026 covering additional crops, new markets and a further weeding-machine configuration. The company, headquartered in Bengaluru with US operations, described its existing work in lettuce and plans to extend algorithms to crops including onions, tomatoes, broccoli and melons.

The release also identified the Pacific Northwest as a target region and outlined later expansion into Europe and Australia. Niqo described an edge-computing camera platform that could be integrated with different equipment configurations and used for weeding, thinning and targeted spraying. A further US product was in development at the time. The company’s statements about its route to profitability and detection performance were self-reported; the announcement did not provide audited financial results or independent comparative field trials for each proposed crop.
