Mahindra announced the Krish-e and Krish-e Nidaan mobile applications on 12 October 2021. The release positioned them within its farming-as-a-service business, combining digital advice with physical support and access to mechanization services.

The Krish-e app offered crop calendars, fertilizer and spray calculators, financial records and a support helpline. Mahindra described advisory material in eight Indian languages for crops including sugarcane, potato, soybean, chilli and rice. The separate Nidaan application used uploaded crop images for pest and disease identification and proposed responses. These were company-described functions at the time of release; the announcement did not provide an independent diagnostic-accuracy assessment. The development highlights digital farming beyond autonomous machines: software can also organize daily decisions, records and contact with advisory services.
