On 8 March 2024, FederUnacoma outlined plans for the 46th EIMA International exhibition in Bologna, scheduled for 6–10 November that year. A central addition was a dedicated section for demonstrations of drones, agricultural robots and advanced digital systems. The announcement was made in Bari during Enoliexpo.

Around 1,500 exhibiting manufacturers had already registered at that stage, according to the organiser. The broader exhibition covered equipment for farming, forestry, livestock production, bioenergy and grounds maintenance. The robotics demonstration initiative is particularly relevant because observing a machine operating can reveal workflow requirements that are difficult to understand from specifications alone. This is historical coverage of the 2024 programme announcement; the advance exhibitor count should not be treated as the final total.
