In its 25 June 2024 review, DLG described the first FarmRobotix programme at DLG Feldtage as a meeting point for robotics, automation, artificial intelligence and digital crop production. The exhibition took place at Brockhof estate in Erwitte on 11–13 June. DLG reported 370 exhibitors from 18 countries and visitors from 45 countries.

Dedicated demonstration areas showed commercially available robot models, while the student Field Robot Event presented experimental machines. This distinction matters: the two formats exposed visitors to different stages of technology development. Machinery demonstrations also used drone and webcam footage on large screens, allowing audiences to follow operations closely. The wider programme connected these technologies with crop protection, fertilisation, varieties and cultivation choices, placing automation within a complete production system.
