DeLaval announced the 2025 version of its VMS V300 robotic milking range on 30 April. The update included a larger box to accommodate more cow sizes and a flow-responsive milking function intended to maintain a preset teat-end vacuum.
The company also described optional DeLaval Plus analytics and BioSensors Milk Cell Analysis. The latter uses optical sensing to count somatic cells and support udder-health monitoring. Existing vision-based teat localisation remained part of the range. Customer reports of time savings accompanied the launch, but DeLaval explicitly noted that individual performance varies and testimonials do not guarantee the same result on every farm.
