French manufacturer Naïo Technologies described its international expansion plans on 18 January 2022 following CES. The announcement highlighted Ted, its vineyard robot, and two additions to the range: the tracked Jo for densely planted vineyards and the straddling Orio for bed-grown vegetables and other row crops.
Naïo linked Jo’s development to work with the Champagne wine sector. For Orio, it described a US robot-as-a-service offering and equipment sales in Europe. Ted was also presented with a planned US service model. These details show that the same underlying robotics business was exploring different ownership and support arrangements across markets. The dates and availability plans belong to the 2022 announcement and should not be taken as a statement of today’s product terms or delivery schedule.
