CNH Industrial confirmed on 30 November 2021 that it had completed the acquisition of US-based Raven Industries. The transaction extended an existing relationship and made Raven’s precision-agriculture capabilities part of CNH’s digital-development strategy. Raven was based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and also had businesses outside agriculture.

At the time, CNH said its first products with fully integrated Raven precision-agriculture systems would become available in 2022. The announcement focused on building capabilities and serving the group’s dealer network and farming customers. It was therefore a corporate integration milestone, rather than evidence that every CNH tractor or implement immediately gained autonomy. For readers following agricultural robotics, the deal documents how established machinery manufacturers assembled the software and control expertise needed for subsequent automation.
