Hochschule Stralsund announced on 16 September 2026 that a Moritz FR75 tracked vehicle had arrived for its AutARC research project with the University of Greifswald. The team had completed initial driving tests on campus and planned to convert the remotely controlled machine into an autonomous agricultural platform.
Part of the ArtIFARM alliance, AutARC targets field stone collection as its first application. Planned capabilities include identifying and locating stones, using drone observations to prepare routes and revising those routes when onboard perception detects changes.
The modular demonstrator is intended to limit soil disturbance and serve smaller farms. Integrated testing on partner farms remains a planned development step.
