Agtonomy announced an $18 million Series B financing round led by DBL Partners. Nuveen joined as a new investor, while existing backers including Autotech, Allison Transmission, Rethink Food and Black Forest Ventures also participated.

The company said it would use the capital to develop its AI platform, expand integration with equipment manufacturers and increase commercial deployment in agriculture and adjacent off-road industries. Orchards, vineyards and managed land were among the applications identified. The release presented a business-expansion plan; it did not establish a universal operating capability or identical economics across those different environments.
