Agtonomy announced autonomous multi-point turning on 19 August, targeting orchard and other field layouts where limited headland space restricts machinery movements. The company says enabled vehicles can combine forward and reverse manoeuvres without a person executing the turn, extending task coverage into previously difficult areas.

The release also describes expanded passive data collection across its equipment network. Agtonomy reports that operating vehicles process more than two terabytes per hour, and says anonymised observations can support product development and future agronomic services. Its implement library is intended to standardise integration across different tools and operating requirements.

These are company-reported capabilities. The announcement does not provide an independent comparison of intervention rates, collision avoidance performance or turning productivity across implement types, slopes and soil conditions.
