The agROBOfood final report, recorded by Wageningen University & Research as published on 6 March 2024, reviewed an effort to connect agricultural robotics expertise across Europe. The 104-page publication describes a network of digital innovation hubs and a collection of practical robotic solutions for agrifood activities.
Its account credits the contributions of 37 project partners and 20 innovation experiments and industrial challenges. The work was intended to support organisations that need more than a robot prototype, including access to relevant expertise and routes for developing an application. The report also describes the intention to continue collaboration through the agROBOfood network after the funded project. It is a retrospective resource for technology developers and prospective users, rather than a new funding call or a ranking of robot suppliers.
