2. Dr. Mohammad Zare (Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy in Potsdam, Germany; and consultant at Adaptive AgroTech, an international agricultural technology company)
3. Dr. Siva Balasundram (Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia; and consultant at Adaptive AgroTech, an international agricultural technology firm)
The main topics presented during the webinar were:
– Greenhouse automation for control of microclimate and fertigation
– Use of IoT, LPWAN sensors, and mobile robot agents in dynamic assessment of greenhouse environments
– Yield prediction models and simulation software
– Microclimate interpretation using Optimality Degree and Comfort Ratio indices
– Data science, AI, and machine learning in greenhouse automation
– Toward digital twin technology for commercial greenhouses

This international webinar was attended by 50 participants, including faculty members from the central headquarters and technical and engineering departments of provincial research centers, with expertise in greenhouses, irrigation, and agricultural machinery, as well as experts from related executive agencies.
At the end of the webinar, a Q&A session was held, and participants discussed and exchanged ideas on potential areas for future collaboration.
